Voltro is a Wi-Fi connected control circuit. Voltro is enabling both the real-time measurement and control of household energy consumption. Installed Voltro’s will operate autonomously so long as there is a sufficiently strong Wi-Fi signal.
Voltro has two LED lights which indicate the devices operation. Do not press the buttons labelled SETUP or RESET without contacting us at email@example.com first.
Once installation is complete and the Voltro is connected to the Symbiot cloud (via Wi-Fi) the RGB LED will breathe cyan as pictured.
The status LED will be solid green indicating that the relay within Voltro is closed and electricity is being delivered to the property.
From time to time the Voltro will download and install the latest firmware update. The RGB light will blink magenta during this process.
Lost Power Troubleshooting
If you have lost power in some places and not others, check your Voltros. If the status light on the Voltro labelled MAIN is not green, press BYPASS firmly and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The status light will change to red and the Voltro will function as if it isn’t there.
If there are connectivity issues the RGB LED will indicate what the nature of the issue is. If the energy data is not consistently updating at all on the dashboard there is likely a connectivity issue.
If the RBG LED is blinking green, it is connecting to the Wi-FI network. If it is not able to connect and does not start breathing cyan after 5 minutes, press BYPASS and contact us at email@example.com.
If the RGB LED is rapidly blinking cyan, it is connecting to the cloud. If it is not able to connect and does not start breathing cyan after 5 minutes, press BYPASS and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the RGB LED is breathing green, it is connected to Wi-Fi but not the cloud. This generally indicates an issue with the internet service. Please confirm if the internet is accessible over the Wi-Fi network with one of your other devices. If it is, press the BYPASS button and contact us at email@example.com.
Updating Wi-Fi credentials
Voltro’s will not automatically update Wi-Fi credentials. If you intend to update the SSID or password of the Wi-Fi network that Voltro is connected to, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can remotely update the Voltro with the latest credentials.
